Core skills

Skills and capabilities most closely associated with this opportunity.

Sample interview questions
How would you identify and prioritize the biggest opportunity in YipitAgent's trial-to-paid conversion funnel?

I would first map the funnel from acquisition through paid conversion and establish baseline conversion, time-to-value, engagement, and retention metrics. I would segment results by acquisition source, customer profile, and behavioral cohorts, then pair the quantitative findings with user interviews and session evidence. I would prioritize opportunities by expected impact, confidence, implementation effort, and alignment with the product strategy.

Describe an experiment you would run to improve trial activation for a B2B SaaS product.

I would begin by defining an activation event that demonstrably predicts retained use, such as completing a key analysis or inviting a teammate. I would test a guided onboarding experience that uses contextual prompts, sample workflows, and progressive education to help users reach that event quickly. Success would be measured through activation rate, time to activation, downstream conversion, and guardrail metrics such as support volume and user satisfaction.

How do you balance rapid experimentation with a coherent customer experience?

I use a clear growth model and customer journey principles to ensure tests support, rather than fragment, the core experience. Experiments should have explicit hypotheses, defined audiences, success criteria, and guardrails, with results documented for reuse. I also coordinate closely with product design and engineering so that winning learnings are incorporated into a durable roadmap rather than left as isolated tactics.

How would you use qualitative and quantitative research to find customer 'aha' moments?

I would interview successful and unsuccessful trial users to understand their goals, obstacles, and the specific moment when the product's value became clear. I would then examine behavioral data to identify actions and sequences that correlate with sustained engagement and conversion. Combining these signals would let me design onboarding, education, and lifecycle prompts that guide more users toward those high-value moments.

What factors would you consider when testing pricing, packaging, or trial structures?

I would assess customer willingness to pay, perceived value, competitive positioning, usage patterns, sales motion, and the risk of reducing trust or long-term retention. Tests would be designed with clear segments and guardrails to measure conversion, revenue quality, retention, and support impact rather than only immediate upgrades. I would involve sales, customer success, finance, and leadership early to ensure changes are operationally viable and strategically aligned.
