Sample interview questions
Describe an AI automation you built that replaced a manual revenue workflow.

I would explain the original manual process, the systems and data involved, the LLM or automation approach used, and the measurable outcome. For example, I might describe automating lead research and CRM enrichment with an LLM, API integrations, validation rules, and human review for low-confidence outputs.

How would you design a reliable n8n workflow that synchronizes data between a CRM and a customer data platform?

I would start by defining ownership of each data field, event triggers, mappings, and success criteria. I would implement authentication securely, idempotency controls, retries with backoff, error queues, observability, data validation, and reconciliation reporting to prevent duplicates or silent sync failures.

What security considerations are important when connecting LLMs to revenue systems?

I would apply least-privilege access, store secrets in an approved vault, minimize sensitive data sent to model providers, and use approved vendors and data-processing settings. I would also add audit logging, input and output validation, prompt-injection protections, and clear escalation paths for potentially sensitive results.

How would you decide whether to use a no-code automation platform or build a custom service?

I would use an automation platform when the workflow is standard, maintainable, and supported by reliable connectors. I would build a custom service when requirements involve complex logic, high scale, specialized security controls, performance constraints, versioning needs, or integrations that cannot be safely maintained in the platform.

How would you measure the success of a GTM automation project?

I would establish a baseline and measure outcomes such as hours saved, workflow completion rate, error rate, adoption, data-quality improvement, time-to-response, pipeline influence, and user satisfaction. I would review these metrics with the revenue-team stakeholders and iterate based on the highest-value bottlenecks.
