Sample interview questions
I would begin by confirming the customer's business outcomes, infrastructure landscape, protection requirements, success criteria, and stakeholders. I would then create a mutually agreed evaluation plan, demonstrate the relevant workflows, validate integration and performance requirements, and document results and next steps with the sales team.
The design must account for each platform's native APIs, workload scale, recovery objectives, storage architecture, and operational processes. I would assess the customer's virtual infrastructure, identify critical workloads, and recommend protection, replication, and recovery workflows that meet their RPO and RTO requirements.
For technical teams, I use architecture diagrams, workflow demonstrations, and measurable validation criteria. For executives, I focus on risk reduction, operational resilience, recovery readiness, and the business impact of downtime, adapting the same solution narrative to their priorities.
I would establish regular communication, understand their customer focus and technical strengths, provide enablement on relevant solutions, and join customer engagements where technical support can accelerate progress. Sharing feedback and following through on commitments are essential to long-term partner trust.
I would first clarify the underlying concern rather than immediately offering a generic response. I would address it with a relevant demonstration, documented capability, or a clear follow-up plan, while being transparent about any limitations and aligning the next step with the customer's evaluation criteria.
