The role, at a glance.
Zapier is hiring a senior product marketing leader to build and scale enterprise go-to-market strategy for new platform capabilities, including Sidekick. It partners closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, customer advocacy, and revenue enablement to turn product capabilities and deal feedback into repeatable enterprise motions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of product marketing experience, technical fluency in AI agent workflows, and a strong record of supporting enterprise sales cycles. Sample interview questions
I would explain the initial customer problem, the evidence gathered through design partners and sales conversations, and how I translated those insights into ICP criteria, positioning, packaging, and enablement. I would quantify results such as pipeline creation, adoption, win rate, or sales-cycle improvement, then describe how I iterated the motion using market and deal feedback.
I would begin with the business outcome rather than the architecture: faster, more reliable execution of multi-step work with appropriate controls. I would then use a concrete workflow example, explain the governance model around access and identity, and connect technical differentiators to risk reduction, operational efficiency, and scale.
I would assess whether enterprise buyers have materially different requirements around security, administration, procurement, governance, integrations, support, or measurable business value. I would combine customer research, usage patterns, willingness-to-pay evidence, competitive context, and sales feedback to define packaging hypotheses, then validate them through structured experiments and deal analysis.
I would describe how I identified a recurring competitor objection or loss pattern, separated surface-level feedback from the underlying buyer concern, and developed a specific response through positioning, proof points, product education, or enablement. I would share the measurable impact on win rates, objection handling, pipeline conversion, or sales confidence.
I create a shared operating cadence with clear decision owners, concise written updates, documented assumptions, and regular reviews of customer and deal evidence. I prioritize a small set of launch-critical decisions, equip the field with current materials and guidance, and ensure feedback from active opportunities returns quickly to the product and marketing teams.

Hi there!
We’re looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager. Enterprise to build enterprise GTM for Zapier’s next chapter. Your first priorities include standing up enterprise GTM for Sidekick (our newest product), shaping our governance narrative, and equipping Sales to win on technical differentiators. As product and market signals evolve, you’ll own positioning and packaging wherever Zapier Enterprise needs the most leverage. You’ll report to Jane Zhang, Director of Product Marketing, and partner closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing leaders to bring enterprise Zapier to market.
About You
You’ve landed product-market fit for a new product before, turning pricing and packaging experiments into a repeatable motion that reached real customers and closed revenue
You bring deep product and technical depth – you understand how an MCP or agent-based workflow works and can explain it in plain language for a C-level buyer
You have 8+ years in product marketing with meaningful time supporting enterprise sales
You’re entrepreneurial at enterprise scale – you move quickly with the rigor enterprise deals require, and stay close to what buyers actually need
You use data to form strong opinions from customer conversations, deal feedback, and packaging experiments, then bring a clear point of view into the room to drive decisions
You’re comfortable collaborating async, with clear written updates, tight docs, and strong follow-through
You actively use AI tools to work more efficiently – ideally you’ve built automations yourself
You’re comfortable with enterprise buyers: shaping proposals, supporting demos, and turning customer feedback into product and GTM inputs – credible with both executives and end-users
Things You’ll Do
Lead enterprise GTM strategy for new products like Sidekick, defining commercial packaging from design partnerships through to GA
Help shape our enterprise ICP and motion into a focused, repeatable GTM
Own our Governance story: how we position things like secure auths, identity management, and safety with agent use
Shape our talk track around Zapier’s differentiators like fluid determinism, and how they show up in the product
Work with our customer advocacy team on case studies and proof points that make the platform tangible for enterprise buyers
Bring product-level depth to competitive deals, grounding “why Zapier wins” in specific workflows and features
Collaborate with PMMs across narrative and product on positioning, launches, and the stories that support enterprise deals
Partner with product and sales to shape and close enterprise opportunities on new platform capabilities
Translate product updates into field-ready materials with revenue enablement, and feed deal feedback back to product on commercial readiness
