Sample interview questions
I segment accounts by fit, potential value, and engagement level, then use CRM tasks and sequenced outreach to prioritize daily activity. I personalize messaging around each prospect’s likely hiring challenges and review response and conversion data weekly to refine my approach.
I prepare a concise hypothesis about the account, open with a relevant reason for contacting them, and ask a focused discovery question rather than immediately pitching. If the timing is poor, I respectfully secure a next step and record context for a more relevant follow-up.
I would align on the ideal customer profile, account priorities, messaging, and qualification criteria before outreach begins. I would share prospect intelligence, engagement history, and objections promptly, then coordinate handoffs so the prospect experiences a consistent conversation.
I would monitor activity volume, connection rates, email replies, meetings booked, qualified opportunities created, conversion by segment, and pipeline contribution. Looking at these metrics together helps identify whether the issue is targeting, messaging, channel mix, or follow-up discipline.
I first review my funnel to identify the specific gap, such as insufficient conversations or poor meeting conversion. I then increase focus on the highest-potential accounts, seek coaching on objections and messaging, and execute a time-bound recovery plan while keeping my manager informed.
