Sample interview questions
I would start with the organization’s mission, audience, and current communication challenges. I would then connect relevant platform capabilities, such as messaging or voice, to practical outcomes like improving volunteer engagement, sending timely service updates, or reaching beneficiaries reliably, using plain language and measurable examples.
I segment opportunities by stage, expected value, close date, and next action, then maintain these details consistently in Salesforce. I review the pipeline frequently, validate assumptions with customers, identify stalled deals early, and communicate realistic risks and upside to my manager.
I assess the customer’s use case, urgency, technical requirements, decision process, expected scale, and potential business or mission impact. I confirm whether the account has a problem Twilio can solve, establish the value of solving it, and agree on a clear next step before investing deeper sales resources.
I would structure the discussion around the customer’s goals rather than product terminology, use a simple example relevant to their workflow, and check understanding throughout. I would summarize the trade-offs, expected outcomes, and next steps in writing so the customer can confidently share the recommendation internally.
I would document the customer’s requirement, business context, timeline, and impact, then involve the appropriate product, engineering, support, or solutions stakeholders early. I would keep ownership of customer communication, set realistic expectations, and coordinate a clear path to an answer or alternative solution.
