Core skills

Skills and capabilities most closely associated with this opportunity.

Sample interview questions
How would you prioritize channel partners within a new territory?

I would segment partners by current revenue, pipeline potential, solution fit, engagement level, market coverage, and capability to sell and support the offering. I would then create differentiated plans for strategic growth partners, developing partners, and lower-priority accounts, with measurable quarterly objectives.

Describe how you would use Salesforce data to improve partner performance.

I would review pipeline volume, stage conversion, win rates, deal velocity, activity levels, and revenue trends by partner. These insights would identify enablement gaps, stalled opportunities, whitespace, and high-performing motions, allowing me to build targeted account plans and business-review recommendations.

How do you motivate a partner that is not actively selling your solution?

I would first diagnose the barrier, such as weak executive sponsorship, unclear value proposition, insufficient training, limited demand generation, or competitive pressure. I would align on a concise joint plan with enablement, co-marketing support, opportunity targets, and regular checkpoints to create momentum and accountability.

What makes an effective partner business review?

An effective review is data-led, forward-looking, and tied to mutually agreed actions. I would cover results against plan, pipeline health, conversion performance, key wins and losses, market opportunities, enablement needs, and a short list of owners and deadlines for the next period.

How would you balance strategic planning with a travel requirement of 50–75%?

I would use account segmentation and quarterly territory planning to focus in-person time on the partners with the greatest growth potential or most urgent needs. I would combine travel with structured virtual cadence, documented follow-ups in Salesforce, and recurring internal alignment so field activity consistently advances pipeline and revenue goals.
