Sample interview questions
I establish clear field standards and validation rules, run recurring audits for incomplete or duplicate records, and prioritize fixes based on their impact on reporting and sales execution. I also document recurring issues and create self-service guidance to prevent them from returning.
I have managed users, roles, permissions, fields, record layouts, pipelines, and reporting-related configuration. I work closely with sales stakeholders to ensure changes solve a real workflow need while preserving governance and data consistency.
I would triage requests by business impact, urgency, and repeatability, then communicate expected timelines. For recurring requests, I would identify the root cause and create documentation, automation, or a repeatable intake process to reduce future manual work.
I would assess the business problem, expected adoption, integration requirements, data ownership, security and permissions, reporting impact, implementation effort, and total cost. I would also involve representative end users early to validate that the tool improves their workflow.
I start by clarifying the desired business outcome and the metrics that will show success. I then map the required process, data, automation, permissions, and documentation changes, test them with users, and monitor adoption and data quality after release.
About this role.
Kinsta is one of the top providers of managed hosting for WordPress, with a growing club of 120,000+ businesses including startups, universities, and Fortune 500 firms. We’re motivated by excellent quality and proud to have received a 97% satisfaction rating from our customers.
That’s because, to us, each day is a chance to grow. As a team, we continuously inspire each other to learn new and better ways to make an impact. We own our jobs proudly – our leaders don’t hold our hands, but they’re in our corner whenever we ask for help – and our environment is flexible and remote-first.
As a Revenue Operations Administrator, you’ll be the primary day-to-day RevOps partner for our Sales organization and the go-to owner of our core GTM systems. You’ll keep HubSpot and our revenue tech stack clean, accurate, and reliable. That means running regular data audits and cleanup, managing fields, layouts, and permissions, and making sure the tools and documentation Sales depends on are up to date and actually used. This role goes beyond answering requests: you’ll spot gaps in how our systems and tools fit together and improve them over time, whether that’s tightening an integration or evaluating a new platform.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the main RevOps point of contact for Sales.
Own Sales-facing documentation and keep it accurate, up to date, and easy to use.
Support adoption and effective use of Sales tools (e.g. call recording, enablement, and productivity tools).
Handle day-to-day Sales requests and turn recurring questions into documentation or self-serve resources.
Partner with Sales leadership to translate quarterly priorities into operational changes in our systems.
Perform routine HubSpot administration, including user management and configuration maintenance.
Run regular data audits, deduplication, and cleanup routines to maintain high data quality.
Manage field creation, page layouts, and access permissions in line with governance standards.
Administer and maintain GTM technology tools as the subject matter expert for core RevOps software.
Evaluate new platforms and tools to address emerging business needs and operational gaps.
Own the health of our GTM systems and data, and proactively fix issues before they reach Sales.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other GTM teams to keep systems aligned with how teams actually work.
What You Bring To The Role:
2–4 years of experience in RevOps, Sales Ops, or CRM administration, or a closely related role.
Hands-on administration of a CRM (user management, fields, page layouts, permissions), not just end-user usage.
Proven experience supporting a commercial sales organization.
Strong HubSpot experience (Sales Hub Enterprise; Marketing Hub Professional).
Data hygiene experience: running audits, deduplication, and cleanup, and setting up validation rules and data standards that keep records accurate over time.
Experience administering GTM tools (e.g. call recording, enablement, and productivity tools) and supporting their adoption.
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to write clear, practical documentation for non-technical users.
Benefits:
Annual remote expense budget.
Flexible PTO.
Paid parental leave.
Annual professional development budget: available after one year with Kinsta.
Sabbatical: available after three years with Kinsta (and every three years thereafter).
Location-specific healthcare benefits (includes vision and dental) for employees hired in the USA, UK, Canada, and Hungary.
Pension plan for employees hired in the UK, and 401k contributions for employees hired in the USA.
Compensation
