Sample interview questions
I would first identify the audience’s technical level and the installation scenarios they commonly encounter. I would structure the session around product value, architecture, installation steps, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and a live demonstration, then provide concise reference materials and collect feedback for follow-up training.
I would clarify the customer’s operational, technical, and commercial requirements before making comparisons. I would then provide an evidence-based assessment of the relevant capabilities, demonstrate the applicable Ajax solution where possible, acknowledge any genuine gaps, and recommend the best-fit configuration rather than relying on generic claims.
I assess site layout, threat profile, coverage requirements, environmental conditions, network availability, power resilience, integration needs, user workflows, regulatory requirements, and maintenance expectations. I use these factors to select compatible devices and create a solution that is reliable, scalable, and straightforward for installers to support.
I provide sales teams with clear use cases, approved positioning, practical limitation notes, and concise comparison materials. I also run joint discovery sessions and remain available for complex opportunities, so technical claims are validated before they are shared with customers or partners.
I would document the feedback with the installation context, affected configuration, expected behavior, business impact, and reproducible evidence such as logs or photos. After validating the issue or opportunity, I would share a structured report with product and engineering stakeholders, communicate status to the partner, and update training or documentation if an immediate workaround is available.
