Sample interview questions
I would first segment the market by country, school group, curriculum, procurement model, and digital-learning maturity. I would identify priority accounts and partners, map decision-makers and influencers, create localized value propositions, and establish measurable pipeline, activity, and conversion targets for each territory.
I begin with discovery to understand educational, operational, technical, and procurement requirements. I map the buying committee, align each stakeholder to relevant outcomes, maintain a mutual action plan, and use regular executive reviews to surface risks early and keep the process moving toward a documented decision.
I connect platform capabilities to outcomes such as improved teaching consistency, reduced administrative effort, stronger reporting, scalable professional development, and improved learner engagement. I use the customer's current workflows and success metrics to build a practical business case rather than relying on generic product claims.
I apply clear opportunity stages with objective exit criteria, validate close dates against customer actions, and inspect deal risks, stakeholder alignment, procurement status, and next steps every week. I separate committed opportunities from pipeline potential and adjust territory actions based on conversion data.
I would carefully assess mandatory requirements, identify areas where we can differentiate on educational value and implementation outcomes, and coordinate subject-matter experts to produce a compliant, evidence-based response. In parallel, I would engage stakeholders where permitted to clarify priorities and ensure the proposal directly addresses their evaluation criteria.
