Sample interview questions
I would begin with a detailed project plan that assigns owners, due dates, dependencies, and communication checkpoints. I would maintain a run-of-show document, confirm vendor requirements early, track attendee information, and provide concise status updates so that issues can be resolved before the event.
I would first confirm the event objective and target accounts, then collaborate with sales to prioritize contacts by account importance, role, and relationship status. I would track invitations and responses, share registration progress, and help coordinate follow-up actions after the event.
I would review registrations, attendance rate, target-account participation, engagement, follow-up completion, and feedback from sales and attendees. Where data is available, I would also report influenced pipeline and opportunities to connect program activity to business impact.
I prioritize work by deadline, business impact, and dependencies, then break larger assignments into smaller milestones. I use a task tracker and calendar reminders, communicate early when risks arise, and regularly confirm priorities with my manager when new requests are added.
I would examine target industries, relevant local events, competitor activity, partner opportunities, and the needs of priority accounts. I would summarize the findings into practical recommendations for audience targeting, event format, messaging, and potential venues or partners.
