Sample interview questions
Describe how you would manage a health system's implementation from kickoff through launch.

I would begin by confirming success criteria, stakeholders, technical dependencies, scope, and timelines. I would maintain a shared implementation plan with clear owners and milestones, run regular status meetings, surface risks early, and validate readiness through training and launch checklists. After launch, I would monitor adoption and use feedback to guide optimization.

How have you handled a technical integration issue that put a client timeline at risk?

I first clarify the technical issue, business impact, and decision owner, then bring together the appropriate client and internal technical contacts. I provide a transparent action plan with owners, target dates, and contingency options. Frequent, concise updates preserve trust while the team works toward resolution.

How would you demonstrate ROI and product adoption to an enterprise client?

I would establish baseline metrics during onboarding and align them to the client's stated operational goals. I would track usage, engagement, workflow outcomes, and qualitative stakeholder feedback, then present trends in a clear business narrative. The review would include recommended actions to improve adoption and extend value.

How do you balance scaled account management with providing a high-quality client experience?

I use standardized onboarding materials, repeatable implementation playbooks, segmentation, and proactive communication cadences for common needs. I reserve deeper one-to-one engagement for high-impact risks, strategic accounts, or complex technical requirements. This approach keeps service consistent while ensuring clients receive attention where it matters most.

What would you do if an end-user group was not adopting a newly launched workflow tool?

I would diagnose the barrier through usage data and direct feedback, distinguishing training gaps from workflow, technical, or value-perception issues. I would partner with client champions to tailor enablement, documentation, and communication to the affected group. I would then measure whether targeted interventions improve engagement and adjust the plan as needed.
