Sample interview questions
Describe a strategic partnership you secured with a multi-property hospitality brand.

I would outline how I mapped stakeholders, validated the commercial case, built an internal sponsor network, led negotiations, and established a rollout plan. I would quantify results such as properties covered, pipeline created, revenue potential, and adoption outcomes.

How do you approach negotiating a complex master framework agreement?

I begin by aligning on business outcomes and decision criteria, then create a stakeholder map and negotiation plan covering commercial, legal, operational, and product requirements. I maintain clear ownership of open points, use data to support trade-offs, and involve internal specialists early to avoid late-stage blockers.

How would you identify and prioritize target hotel groups for Lightspeed?

I would assess portfolio size, technology maturity, geographic footprint, strategic fit, procurement structure, current systems, and likelihood of scalable rollout. I would prioritize accounts where Lightspeed can demonstrate measurable operational or guest-experience value and where a brand-level agreement can unlock multiple properties.

How do you ensure a signed partnership transitions successfully to direct sales teams?

I would develop a documented handoff plan with target-property lists, partner commitments, positioning guidance, key contacts, implementation assumptions, and success metrics. I would run joint enablement sessions and maintain a feedback loop so sales teams can surface execution barriers quickly.

Tell us about a time you influenced internal product or executive stakeholders using market feedback.

I would present concise customer evidence, the strategic opportunity, revenue impact, and a recommended course of action. By framing feedback around priority customer needs and scalable business value, I would seek alignment on a practical product, commercial, or operational response.
