Sample interview questions
I would review the source dialogue and BSL signing together, checking timing, meaning, context, and consistency. I would document any discrepancies clearly and escalate ambiguous cases using the established quality process.
I would first reproduce the issue and record the affected asset, timestamp, device or environment, and error behavior. I would then isolate whether the problem is related to encoding, audio, captions, player behavior, or source media, and provide evidence for escalation.
I use a structured review checklist, prioritize issues by severity, and keep concise records of recurring defects. This allows me to work efficiently without overlooking critical quality requirements.
I would look for repeated issues by content provider, asset type, language pairing, platform, device, or processing stage. Identifying these patterns helps distinguish one-off errors from systemic problems that require a longer-term solution.
I would provide a concise summary of the impact, affected content, timestamps, reproduction steps, and any immediate workaround. I would clearly state the priority level and remain available to answer follow-up questions quickly.
