Sample interview questions
I establish the desired business outcomes, decision owners, constraints, and measurable milestones early. I then create a phased delivery plan with regular executive checkpoints, manage risks transparently, and adjust scope through documented governance as new information emerges.
I would begin with the agency's mission priorities, data landscape, security obligations, and target user outcomes. From there, I would translate those needs into a value roadmap covering architecture, adoption, governance, training, and success metrics that both technical teams and executives can evaluate.
I focus on understanding each stakeholder's priorities, operational pressures, and definition of success before recommending actions. I maintain trust through concise communication, reliable follow-through, clear escalation paths, and honest discussion of risks and trade-offs.
I treat commercial outcomes as a result of sustained customer value rather than as a separate objective. By defining value realization metrics, identifying adoption barriers early, and positioning appropriate services and training at the right time, I can support growth without compromising delivery quality.
I would review the account context, stakeholder map, delivery plan, and risks with them, then help them prioritize the most important decisions. I would provide direct feedback, model executive communication, and progressively delegate ownership while remaining available for escalation and coaching.
