Sample interview questions
How would you prepare for a first outreach to an enterprise prospect?

I would research the company’s business model, growth priorities, relevant home-services needs, and likely decision-makers. I would then prepare a concise, personalized message that connects Angi’s value proposition to a credible business challenge and proposes a clear next step.

How do you handle rejection in a cold-calling environment?

I treat rejection as information rather than a personal outcome. I document the objection, look for patterns, ask for coaching when appropriate, and quickly move to the next well-prepared outreach while refining my approach.

What makes a sales meeting qualified?

A qualified meeting includes a relevant stakeholder, a confirmed business need or potential use case, and enough context for the account executive to have a productive conversation. I would also capture timing, current process, key pain points, and agreed next steps in the CRM.

How would you organize a high volume of outreach activity?

I would prioritize accounts by fit and potential, use CRM tasks and sequences to manage follow-ups, and block focused time for research, calls, email, and documentation. I would review activity and conversion metrics regularly to improve my cadence.

Describe how you would apply feedback from a sales manager.

I would listen for the specific behavior to improve, practice the revised approach in role-plays or low-risk conversations, and track its effect on response or meeting-conversion rates. I would then follow up with my manager to confirm progress and identify the next improvement area.
