Sample interview questions
I would begin by reviewing partner funnel, spend, conversion, lead quality, capacity, retention, and service-area data against historical performance and comparable accounts. I would validate the findings with the partner’s business goals and operational constraints, then prioritize a small set of measurable initiatives with clear owners, timelines, and success metrics.
I would present a concise fact-based view of the decline, its likely drivers, and the commercial impact before moving to recommendations. I would ask targeted questions to understand changes in capacity, operations, demand, or competitive conditions, align on a recovery plan, and establish regular checkpoints with leading indicators.
I frame the issue in terms of customer and business impact, use data and representative partner evidence, and propose a practical path forward rather than only escalating a problem. I identify the relevant stakeholders, clarify trade-offs, and maintain momentum through documented decisions, owners, and follow-ups.
I use account health indicators to segment partners by risk and opportunity, combining quantitative signals with qualitative relationship intelligence. For at-risk accounts, I create proactive mitigation plans, engage the right internal teams early, and monitor leading indicators rather than waiting for revenue or retention outcomes.
I would use approved AI tools to summarize performance trends, organize account research, draft review materials, and surface hypotheses for further validation. I would verify outputs against source data, protect confidential information, and retain human judgment for recommendations, partner communication, and final decisions.
