We are looking for a Staff IT Systems Engineer to help build our IT infrastructure. This role will be hands-on in building and maintaining infrastructure and integrations between systems. This role will be given a high level of autonomy to build our automations/integrations that will scale with Webflow and take us to the next level as our tech stack matures and we continue to grow as a company.

About the role 

  • Location: San Francisco HQ or US remote

  • Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges from $134,000 – $185,000 for most US locations and $150,000 – $206,000 for US locations with a higher cost of labor. All figures cited above are in $USD and pertain to workers located in the United States. Pay is based on several factors including market location, and may vary depending on job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
  • Reporting to the Manager, IT Ops & Productivity

As a Staff IT Systems Engineer, you’ll:

  • Maintain and streamline Webflows Okta environment
  • Fully integrate, test, and scale SaaS applications
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify, scope, build, and maintain automation architecture
  • Utilizing your scripting and API experience to build internal tooling
  • Further automate and streamline access control for the full employee lifecycle
  • Partner with our IT Experience team to provide the infrastructure backbone for best in class employee experience
  • Build the aforementioned automations with your preferred scripting language (e.g. Python, Shell, Ruby, etc.)

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we’ll help you incorporate them into your role.

About you 

You’ll thrive as a Staff IT Systems Engineer if you:

  • Have extensive experience building high-functioning IT Infrastructure at a cloud-first high-growth company (>1k users is a plus)
  • Utilize API’s on a regular basis and love a well formatted JSON payload
  • You’ve been a Super Administrator in Okta for large scale companies.
  • Have expertise in iPaaS solutions like Workato, Okta Workflows, Tines, Postman Flows, and Zapier.
  • Enjoy being hands-on to solve complex technical problems across an IT Infrastructure (i.e. Okta, Google Workspace & Cloud, Atlassian, Github, AWS)
  • Have the ability to influence change and deliver sustainable technical and architectural decisions to improve efficiencies across the organization
  • Are comfortable owning large scale automation projects from inception to completion
  • Are a regular contributor to personal and public projects on GitHub
