I am a financial crime and risk operations professional with more than eight years of experience in banking, AML/KYC, fraud investigations, and international operations. My background includes corporate banking, transaction monitoring, sanctions exposure, client risk assessments, and regulatory compliance across U.S. and European markets.
I investigate domestic and cross-border corporate transactions for suspicious activity, including APP fraud, account takeover, synthetic identity fraud, business email compromise, money mule activity, layering, and correspondent banking risks. I have prepared, reviewed, and directly filed SARs and STRs with FinCEN and European financial intelligence units.
I lead KYC and AML operations teams, supporting high-risk client reviews, client refreshes, financial institution verification, quality calibration, and risk mitigation. I am experienced in managing teams of more than 10 people and partnering with senior stakeholders to strengthen fraud prevention and financial crime controls.
I contribute to transaction monitoring enhancement initiatives, including AML rule, scenario, and threshold calibration. I have supported UAT activities for Fenergo implementation by developing test scenarios, validating alert generation, identifying defects, and coordinating remediation with technology teams.
I also review corporate cryptocurrency and stablecoin activity using blockchain monitoring techniques to assess legitimacy, suspicious flows, and AML exposure. My technical foundation includes SQL, Excel-based fraud analysis, BI reporting, computer science and networking studies, and Cisco CCNA coursework.
