Please do not use Medely for picking up shifts. I applied to pick up shifts, uploaded all my information, including bank information. Then I contacted customer service to request them to update my profile because something was left out (maybe my fault). After I completed their request full out a form to update, my account was deactivated for not following community guidelines. At the point, I didnβt not pick up any shifts, much less be tardy or a no-show for one. For 3 days, I was messaging their virtual chat agent and emailed them. I keep getting the response that someone from their team will get back to me. Itβs been 3 days – no response, and when I first contacted Medely it only took them less than 12 hours to respond. (That agent Willow wasnβt the sharpest pencil in the box if you know what I mean as I had to explain to her multiple times in multiple ways what my issue was.)
Today I tried to call their customer service and no matter what option I chose, that Iβm a nurse on travel or local assignment, Iβm a facility, I need employment verification, or any other issue, the automated response would be that I am not allowed to call from my area. So I called from my business cell phone and no matter which option I chose, it connected to me to wait to speak with an agent. YUP, MEDELY BLOCKED MY NUMBER FROM CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for 5 minutes and unfortunately they sent me to their voicemail.
Some may have been having great experience with Medely, but I just want to caution you on what they do to other nurses, what they can do to their current nurses, and I wish I checked their reviews before giving out my personal information. I will be seeking legal action to make sure they donβt misuse my information.
