As a Senior Manager I was responsible for leading and delivering projects of critical importance to our Clients. In addition, I was tasked with building a Banking & Finance Centre of Excellence within EY which included the building of robust, Architecture skills across all disciplines. My main project was:
 NetZero strategy and implementation planning for Tier 1 Bank
– Technology lead
– Created 4 algorithmic approaches to measuring carbon efficiency of Data Centres
– Conducted technology scan of NetZero appropriate applications for datacentres and data pipeline management.
– Developed and tailored IT & architectural principles, patterns & practices for NetZero and Sustainable IT
– Assessed current projects and strategies for compatibility with Sustainable IT
– Developed a go to market strategy for Sustainable IT
– Reviewed and synchronised Core Banking blue prints between EMEIA and US practices.
– Developed buy vs build decision methodology.
– Banking Technology Training programme for graduate intakes.
– Worked with BIAN to align with Sustainable IT and more clearly articulate the BIAN Service Architecture

HSBC is replacing its various Core Banking solutions and moving to a global model based on Open Banking principles. HSBC wants to focus on architectures utilising MicroServices in compliance with BIAN Semantic APIs and the BIAN Service Landscape
 Created global Core Banking blueprint and roadmap.
 Created approaches to decompose software monolith architectures to microservices.
 Create Core Banking Capability model.
– aligned capability model with internal service catalogues.
– aligned Core Banking and WPB capability model with HSBC Capability Model
 Worked with Group EA team to refine the knowledge management practices within global reference architecture store.
 Deconstruct Core Banking services to BIAN compliant Service Domains
 Modelled all work in VisualParadigm using Archimate 3.1.

Phoenix was struggling to articulate a clear governance methodology for the ongoing merger activities between Phoenix and Standard Life.
 Mapped design to service structure via capability modelling.
 Constructed change review process.
 Worked with executive management and workstreams to properly define accountabilities and responsibilities.
 EA Target Operating Model for new business.

Customer Experience & Sales Development (CESD) is a major strategic project in the Commercial Bank. Focussed on creating an Omni-channel customer experience for commercial banking clients.
 Created a capability map of relationship management and marketing in CMB.
 Mapped relationship management and marketing capability to systems coverage to identify overlaps, gaps and efficiencies.
 Built RESTful APIs for CESD to integrate with AWS and GCP cloud services.
 Developed strategy and roadmap to integrate customer data from SAP to MS Dynamics on Azure.
 Lead co-ordination with group Enterprise Architecture team to ensure compliance with and growth of group business architecture.
