• Built up data governance framework from a greenfield site. Including, providing artefacts on principles, policies, & data guidelines. (First data documentation for a new function in the business).
• Introduced and embedded data governance software tooling solutions (MS Purview proof of concept). First data governance software solution for the firm. Introduced new data ingestion & data lineage solutions to previous manual excel silos. Time savings approximately 35 hours per month.
• Regular reporting to Executive Board OPCO members, data plans, roadmap, budgeting & data strategy.

Amber Labs (Head of Data)
• Certification of Chief Data Protection Officer (CDPO) and fulfilling this Group role and responsibilities.
• Rolling out Alation data catalogue to British Aerospace (client) globally. Demos, training, curation of use cases, providing meta data management workflows, data discovery and expert governance solutions.

Lloyd’s of London CDO (Senior Data Consultant)
• Project Manager led and implemented full end to end Risk & Impact Data Assessment Audit for Solvency II. Complete data audit of governance controls, data lineage and data quality of all global data sets. Working closely with global Data Owners, Stewards, and key senior stakeholders. Enhancing and improving data standards continually and complying with SII regulatory data requirements.

ING CDO (Senior Data Consultant)
• Led, designed, and delivered Data Steward Training workshops for 450 data colleagues, globally. Including preparing and delivering hands-on two-day data training workshops in multiple European offices. Presented for ING live global tele webcast on Data Governance best practices, for a global audience. Including rolling out DCAM (data assessments) to 9 European CDO’s as the lead trainer and Project Manager.

• Led, built, designed, and enhanced a BCBS239 data Risk glossary from scratch. Over 1000 aligned and fully curated Risk data dictionary terms. Embedded Data Risk policy enterprise-wide for industry regulatory compliance successfully.

• Project Manager. Achieved $1M cost savings by leading, conducting, and cleansing of instrument level securities vendor data feeds.

Hermes Investment Management & JPMAM. (Senior Data Consultant)
