Automation Engineer

Analyzes the company’s product and automation testing strategy, leveraging Python-based frameworks and test design to maximize coverage, accelerate issue detection, and align with evolving product requirements. Collaborates with R&D architects and developers to understand hardware-specific requirements and project priorities, integrating automation solutions into the existing CI/CD infrastructure. Builds automation infrastructure by researching and evaluating hardware and software components, developing proof of concepts (POCs), and implementing infrastructure-level software to support diverse system architectures. Develops and maintains automation projects for testing connected vision systems based on Ambarella chipsets and various MIPI sensors. Performs analysis and support of existing automation frameworks, using tools such as Pytest, Jenkins, Qase and Allure, improving test reliability and scalability by refactoring test modules and optimizing data handling. Works closely with the QA team on a daily basis to identify and prioritize critical bugs throughout diverse project stages and release cycles, significantly enhancing overall product stability.

Designed and implemented comprehensive testing strategies from scratch, encompassing both automation and manual testing, to ensure effective validation of the company’s cloud-based enterprise applications. Developed and maintained diverse automation test suites using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Pytest and Robot Framework, enabling efficient regression, performance, and stress testing for web and mobile platforms. Configured and managed local testing environments, installing specific software frameworks and component versions to mirror production settings for accurate testing outcomes. Conducted in-depth debugging of backend processes, including database interactions, Kafka message queues, and server logs, to identify bugs, resolve issues, verify data integrity, and ensure seamless system performance. Created targeted testing programs covering SDK functionality, mobile scenarios, regression and performance testing, as well as usability, negative, and error retesting to improve test coverage and product quality. Established QA strategies and testing routines from the ground up, defining scalable processes tailored to the company’s AWS-based SaaS platform for mobile marketing analytics and attribution.
