Sketched outline designs to provide instrumentation detailed design and specifications for Rompetrol Refinery Systems. Approval of detailed design and specification. Testing of Emerson and Yokogawa DCS’s during Factory Acceptance Test. Commissioning and Start-Up of 4 New Units for KMG Refinery (Pavlodar/Kazakhstan). Recommended design modifications to eliminate component and system malfunctions. Conferred with team engineers to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.

Installed and maintained Emerson DCS equipment and software to meet workflow requirements. Analyzed log files, systems and network traffic to identify improvement opportunities. Worked with internal support teams, outsourced managed service providers and suppliers for comprehensive end-user setup and support. Diagnosed hardware and software issues, implementing action to prevent reoccurrence. Utilized troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities to identify outages.

Directed maintenance and repair of Rompetrol Refinery Systems (Emerson DCS, General Electric Steam Turbine Control Systems, Siemens PLC’s). Commissioning and Start-Up for Rompetrol Control Systems (Emerson DCS, General Electric Steam Turbine Control System). Oversaw quality control, maintenance and repairs throughout projects. Kept equipment in compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Satisfied client needs by minimizing costs and limiting potential operational problems. Identified and implemented optimum resolutions to complex engineering problems using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Directed maintenance and repair of bottle bottling line (Siemens PLC’s). Managed inventory records effectively, making sure there were no discrepancies between production and stock figures. Responded decisively to emergencies and provided first-aid when necessary. Successfully managed up to 8 employees per shift by monitoring workload, assessing performance and assigning duties. Briefed teams on daily operational requirements, motivating and incentivizing staff to work tirelessly to achieve them.
