Protection Assistant

I am a dedicated Social Protection Assistant with extensive experience supporting vulnerable populations, including Ukrainian refugees and marginalized communities such as the Roma. My work focuses on providing comprehensive social support, case management, and facilitating access to medical, psychosocial, legal, and livelihood services. I am passionate about protecting the rights and dignity of individuals at heightened risk, including women and children, and I actively engage with local NGOs, health providers, and authorities to strengthen humanitarian responses.

Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in needs assessment, protection monitoring, and community engagement. I have contributed to the development of innovative tools for data collection and service mapping, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of humanitarian interventions. My experience includes collaborating with international organizations such as UNHCR, the International Rescue Committee, and Project HOPE.

I am fluent in English, Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian, with a basic knowledge of French, which enables me to communicate effectively in multicultural environments. My background in humanities and philology, combined with postgraduate training in humanitarian aid, equips me with a deep understanding of the social and cultural dynamics affecting displaced populations.

In addition to my professional roles, I have volunteered extensively, coordinating volunteer development and supporting community initiatives. I am committed to mentoring new volunteers and facilitating workshops to build capacity within humanitarian organizations. My teaching experience has also allowed me to enhance language proficiency among students, fostering cross-cultural understanding.

I am proficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office, PROGRESSV4, KOBO, and PowerBI, which support my data management and reporting tasks. I hold certificates in human trafficking awareness and victim support, underscoring my commitment to addressing protection risks and promoting survivor-centered approaches.
