I am Amine Laimeche, a junior cybersecurity engineer with a strong focus on SOC analysis and DevSecOps practices. I completed a 3 years engineering apprenticeship at SFR in Paris, where I designed and developed a SOAR incident response tool using PHP Symfony to automate remediation actions such as blocking compromised accounts. I was also involved in securing and automating deployments via GitLab CI/CD pipelines, rewriting and migrating operational manuals related to fixed and mobile data collection, and developing bash scripts to support operational tasks. Additionally, I mentored new apprentices to help them integrate and grow within the team.
Previously, I completed a web developer and network technician internship at iMSA in Bobigny, where I revamped a Java EE web application for MSA accountants and managed the update and configuration of 67 Cisco Catalyst switches, including routing table adjustments. This experience strengthened my skills in network management and application development.
My education includes ongoing engineering studies in cybersecurity at ISEP Paris, where I focus on network routing, cybersecurity, risk management, auditing, virtualization, and big data. I am also pursuing certifications such as Certified Defensive Security Alert (CDSA) and Certified Bug Bounty Hunter (CBBH) through HackTheBox, which enhance my expertise in incident detection, SIEM, DFIR, malware investigation, and vulnerability analysis.
I have practical experience working on technical projects such as building a simulated SOC on Azure with Microsoft Sentinel, deploying a Windows 10 honeypot that attracted over 60,000 failed login attempts in 24 hours, and correlating logs with geospatial visualization. I also developed a comprehensive NBA big data dashboard at ISEP, utilizing official NBA APIs and REST APIs to compare player statistics between regular seasons and playoffs.
My technical skills span programming languages like Python, Java, PHP (Symfony), Bash, and JavaScript; operating systems including Windows and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Kali, Parrot); virtualization and containerization tools such as VMware and Docker; data tools like Kibana, ELK Stack, Apache Airflow, and REST APIs; and network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP. I am proficient with security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Metasploit, and Wireshark.
I am fluent in French and English, with English proficiency certified at C1 level through TOEIC and TOEFL exams. I am passionate about cybersecurity and continuously seek to expand my knowledge and practical skills to contribute effectively to security operations and development teams.
