Experienced Educator / Language Teacher

I am an experienced educator with over 35 years of teaching modern languages including English, German, and Spanish across academic, corporate, and community settings. Throughout my career, I have developed and delivered customized language courses tailored to individuals and groups, integrating cultural competence and life skills into my teaching approach. I have also trained hotel staff and corporate employees in professional communication, enhancing their ability to engage with international guests and clients.

Recently, I completed specialized training in Flora, Fauna & Social Sustainability with a focus on Pollinators, which has allowed me to combine my linguistic expertise with environmental conservation knowledge. This unique combination has enabled me to lead community initiatives and develop educational programs that bridge cultural and disciplinary gaps.

My professional experience spans freelance teaching, private tutoring and caregiving, university-level instruction, and corporate language training. I have also contributed to community education and student support services, including roles as a librarian and student counselor. I am passionate about fostering cross-cultural understanding and supporting learners with diverse needs.

In addition to language education, I have been actively involved in environmental and community projects, including volunteer work in marine turtle protection and animal welfare. I founded a non-profit organization focused on improving quality of life through social and educational programs, demonstrating my leadership and commitment to social sustainability.

I am fluent in German, English, and Spanish, with basic knowledge of French and Mayan (Yucatec).
