Originally a Southern California native, I have since moved to the midwest, first for college where I attended The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and received a Degree in Business Management focusing in Marketing and Communication Technology. I have since found myself living here in Ohio for close to a decade after landing a career within an industry I love in Fashion Retail after I joined the merchandising team at Abercrombie & Fitch.
For as long as I can remember I have had, for lack of a better term, a passion for fashion and I have wanted to be a part of this industry since I began paying attention to skate and surf brands as a kid. Being a kid from Orange County, clothing, trends, and personal style have always been a part of my life and something that I have followed since the days I was planning what to wear on the first day of school. The hottest trends and next big thing in fashion has been an interest of mine my whole life and will continue to be regardless of if it’s how I make my living.
In addition to my love of retail, I also am quite passionate about the world of marketing and public relations, especially as we see this field continue to evolve in the digital age. I am truly a sucker for compelling data and understanding how it can be used to generate influence with prospective customers and the general public. In addition, I love a great story. Whether I am the one spinning it or along for the ride myself, I love being brought into the world of a person, brand, artist, etc. and learning about their lore and story that makes them unique.
In my free time I love to travel, go to concerts with friends, snowboard, and cook. I have been all around the world from Amsterdam to Tokyo and all across the U.S., thanks in part to my mom’s career as a flight attendant when I was growing up. I also credit her for instilling a love of cooking in me from a young age, creating a hobby that I can partake in everyday, whether it’s cooking for myself after work or entertaining friends and family on the weekends.
