I’ve worked in retail for 5 years come November 2023, I have worked with prepackaged food products everywhere I have worked. Which include a drive through convenience store, Walmart, and I am currently employed at F.Y.E. I have a considerable amount of experience stocking merchandise and communicating with customers to assist them.
My responsibilities as an Assistant Manager at F.Y.E. include stocking merchandise, accepting shipments, organizing shelves, cleaning and vacuuming the store, operating a register, assisting customers, processing payroll, and opening and closing the store. Along with completing and transporting the deposit, taking out the trash, tasking associates, setting up new fixtures and sign changes, making decisions on product placement when home location is unclear, helping with scheduling, making sure weekly reports and paperwork are done, assisting in placating irate customers, ensuring no food, candy, or soda has expired, and following a monthly/bimonthly planogram.
