Sponsored Program Specialist

● Organize and conduct procedures to help streamline the proposal creation process, which
included award announcement breakdowns for the PI, budget creation, and review of all
submitted work to ensure it fits under submission guidelines
● Responsible for the portfolio of 10 Principal Investigators (PIs) (Average award amount of 8 per
PI)
● Experience with NOAA, NSF, and NASA Proposals
● Manage awards to ensure that the agreed upon procedures are completed
● Create reconciliations for each award
● Work with PIs to create salary projections
● Create proposal submission schedules
● Track, organize, and update awards through spreadsheets and budget plans
● Create payroll account adjustments and costing allocations
● Approve expense reports, journal entries, p-card transactions, requisitions, and supplier invoices

● Worked on OMB Audits
● Completed performance audits
● Assisted with special projects
● Assisted in the move from Teammate AM to TeamMate Plus
● Worked on eMARS and with KYTC SEFA to assist with the tracking of OMBs

● Oversaw multiple drivers to ensure that products were delivered on time correctly
● Developed plans daily so that every load was sold and picked up on time
● Analyzed multiple companies to see what they were missing and how I could provide my services
to gain what they lacked
● Managed multiple load boards and made sure all appointments were set spo that delivery would
be flawless
