About the role…

ShopMy is seeking a strategic, execution-focused VP of Strategy & Operations to help steer the company through its next phase of growth. This senior hire will be a key leader on the Strategy & Ops team, partnering closely with the COO and functional leaders across the business to drive clarity, alignment, and results.

You’ll lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, operationalize company-wide goals, and build the systems and processes that keep us focused and accountable. You’ll manage a small, high-performing team and play a central role in scaling ShopMy’s operations. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor, business instinct, and a “consider it done” mindset. You’re someone who thrives in ambiguity, sees around corners, and is equally comfortable in the weeds and at 30,000 feet.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and operational initiatives across the business, ensuring alignment with company goals
• Manage and mentor a high-potential team of strategy & ops talent; foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and excellence
• Partner with leaders across Sales, Success, Marketing, Product, People, and Finance to scope and execute cross-functional projects
• Build and refine internal systems for accountability, performance tracking, and decision-making
• Surface key insights through data and structured thinking to inform executive decision-making
• Own and manage our company operating rhythm — including business reviews, goal setting, and cross-functional planning
• Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and proactively implement solutions to improve execution
• Manage and mentor a high-potential team of strategy & ops talent; foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and excellence

Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or general management roles
• Proven track record leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments
• Strong intuition for how to prioritize, triage, and sequence initiatives based on what matters most to the business
• Scrappy, solutions-oriented, and action-biased — you move quickly and don’t wait to be told what to do
• Sharp problem-solver who brings structure to ambiguity and can untangle complex issues with clarity
• Equally comfortable in strategic brainstorms and tactical execution — you know when to zoom out and when to dive in
• Excellent communicator and influencer, able to operate across all levels and functions
• Experienced people manager with a passion for developing and empowering high-potential talent
