We are seeking aย Remote Technical Support Engineer ย to join our Service team. This role is primarily remote, with regular requirements to be present at the Milan Buccinasco office or at customer sites.

You will be a part of the Technical Assistance Team and report to the Technical Assistance Center Team Leader. If you thrive in an amazing, multifunctional, leadership, fast paced, supporting role and want to work to build a world-class TAC Service organizationโ€”read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone
  • Escalate complex issues to Field Service Engineers when necessary.
  • Log customer interactions and maintain accurate customer records
  • Coordinate service interventions and dispatch Field Engineers as needed.
  • Prepare and follow up on service quotations.
  • Identify and manage parts required for service jobs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University’s Scientific degree, preferably in Engineering, with experience with medical devices as user
  • 1 year experience in a similar technical position customer facing
  • Italian native speaker level and English Upper Intermediate (B2 level), in written and mostly in spoken

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SAP
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Histopathology
  • SalesForce.com
