About the role:

Veeam is looking for a Director, Strategic Initiatives to be a key member in delivering global cross-company initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the continued delivery and execution plan of strategic programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Set up and drive program management functions including delivery management, meetings, tracking, reporting, escalation, and other internal processes.
  • Plan and execute product/feature/process launches across cross-functional teams (spanning Product Management, Marketing, Support, Service, Sales, Channels, Operations) and related enablement
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional and steering committee meetings
  • Document project requirements, as-is and to-be business process and co-ordinate Initiative launch with various stakeholders.
  • Leverage existing tools and processes and identify opportunities to improve processes and collaboratively implement them.
  • Work with different virtual teams and cross-functional leaders to orchestrate impactful strategic planning and execution and proactively navigate challenges as they arise.
  • Quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels; be viewed as a collaborator with exceptional communication, organization, analytical, and leadership skills.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of cross-functional, cross-disciplinary, program management and execution experience.
  • Functional Knowledge with SFDC
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality, combined with ability to work as an individual contributor.
  • Strong work ethic, proven record of rejecting setbacks, and enthusiastic presence to reach ambitious goals.
  • Initiative-taker who can frame the problem, develop the solution, and execute on the plan.
  • Collaborator who can work across an organization to build a plan, get alignment and execute it.
  • Experience in driving global initiatives.
  • Experience overseeing complex Initiatives with multi-project timelines.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Willingness to travel up to 0-25%

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
