Job Description Summary

As an Application Specialist, you’ll be the clinical and technical expert who empowers healthcare professionals and drives innovation in surgical imaging. Your mission? Deliver exceptional support, inspire confidence, and help shape the future of Surgical Visualization and Guidance (SVG) in the UK market.
You will report to the Lead Clinical Applications & Sales Specialist and will provide coverage across the UK, with a primary focus on the South East and London region; regular travel will be an essential part of the role.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Be the Expert:

  • Provide hands-on, remote, and phone-based support to customers and colleagues, ensuring seamless integration of our solutions into clinical environments.

  • Deliver high-impact demonstrations and training sessions—both in-person and online—that showcase the power of ultrasound in surgical care.

  • Partner with clinicians in operating theatres to elevate patient outcomes through advanced imaging solutions.

Lead the Way:

  • Organize and execute exhibitions, workshops, and courses that position SVG as a market leader.

  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers, becoming a trusted advisor in their purchasing journey.

  • Identify and nurture Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to strengthen our clinical network and brand reputation.

Drive Growth:

  • Monitor market trends, report insights, and take proactive steps to keep SVG ahead of the curve.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to remove barriers, improve processes, and accelerate business growth.

Your Impact

  • Deliver world-class training and support that clinicians value and trust.

  • Contribute to a strong, united team shaping the UK clinical strategy.

  • Enhance SVG’s image and brand awareness through excellence and innovation.

Desired Characteristics

  • Basic experience in medical devices, ideally with ultrasound or imaging technologies.

  • Strong clinical and product knowledge, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

  • A dynamic, self-starting attitude with flexibility to adapt quickly.

  • Willingness to travel

Why This Role Matters

  • You’re not just supporting customers—you’re transforming surgical care. By combining technical expertise with clinical insight, you’ll help clinicians deliver better outcomes and position SVG as the go-to partner for innovation.
