BingX EU’s current vacancy | Full-time | Long-term | REMOTE

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g. Austrian GAAP / IFRS).

• Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting processes, including journal entry adjustments, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Coordinate local tax obligations (including but not limited to customer-level withholding tax, company-level withholding tax, VAT, and CIT) and liaise with external tax advisers.

• Manage tax compliance and reporting, ensuring the timely and accurate filing of tax returns.

• Develop and implement financial workflows and procedures.

• Implement strategies to minimise errors in financial reporting and optimise resource allocation.

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

• Assist with the MiCA licence application.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting, with at least five years in a senior or equivalent role.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in spoken and written German and English.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

As a plus:

• Strong interest in the crypto-asset and blockchain space.

• Experience interacting with Austrian regulators, including the Financial Market Authority (FMA) and the Austrian Financial Intelligence Unit (AT-FIU), is highly desirable.

• Successful completion of Fit & Proper Tests with EEA regulators (preferably with the FMA).

• Immediate availability is preferred.
