Employee Experience Program Management ERG Support Onboarding Event Planning Cross-functional Collaboration Design Skills Operational Excellence Community Building Data Analysis

Dear Reddit Hiring Team,

I am excited to apply for the Experience Partner, Programs role at Reddit. With over 3 years of experience in employee experience and program management, I have successfully led ERG initiatives, onboarding programs, and large-scale events that fostered community and engagement. My strong design skills and operational rigor ensure programs are executed with excellence and scalability.

I am particularly drawn to Reddit's mission of building community and authentic connections. In my previous role, I managed cross-functional projects, tracked budgets, and leveraged data to improve program outcomes. I am confident I can bring the same level of dedication and creativity to support Reddit's Snoos.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to the Experience team.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Can you describe your experience managing multiple employee experience programs simultaneously? How do you prioritize and ensure deadlines are met?
I have managed up to five programs at once by using project management tools like Asana and setting clear priorities with stakeholders. I break down tasks, set milestones, and communicate regularly to ensure alignment. For example, I coordinated a speaker series while supporting ERG events by delegating tasks and using weekly check-ins.
How have you supported Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in a previous role? Provide a specific example.
In my last role, I was the primary point of contact for three ERGs. I helped them create strategic plans, provided budget management support, and facilitated leadership training. For instance, I worked with the Women's ERG to launch a mentorship program that increased engagement by 30%.
Describe a time you used design skills (e.g., deck-building, graphic design) to enhance an employee program. What was the impact?
I redesigned the onboarding presentation for new hires using Canva, incorporating company branding and interactive elements. This led to a 20% increase in positive feedback on the onboarding experience and reduced time spent on manual updates.
How do you measure the success of an employee experience program? Give an example of how you used data to improve a program.
I track participation rates, survey feedback, and engagement metrics. For a community fund program, I analyzed usage data and found that smaller grants had higher impact. I then adjusted the grant structure to offer more micro-grants, which increased overall participation by 40%.
This role involves working with cross-functional teams like Comms and People. How do you ensure alignment and effective collaboration?
I establish clear communication channels and regular sync meetings. For a year-end event, I collaborated with Comms on messaging and People on logistics, using a shared timeline and RACI matrix to clarify responsibilities. This ensured a seamless event with positive feedback from all teams.
