Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Senior People Operations Partner role at Stampli. With over 6 years of experience in HR operations and a proven track record of scaling people infrastructure, I am excited about the opportunity to bring my expertise in systems optimization, compliance, and AI-enabled process improvements to your team.

In my previous role, I led the implementation of BambooHR and automated onboarding workflows, reducing manual effort by 40%. I am adept at using data to drive decisions and have successfully managed multi-state compliance across the U.S. My proactive and collaborative approach aligns perfectly with Stampli's need for a strategic operator who can build for scale.

I am particularly drawn to Stampli's focus on leveraging technology and AI to enhance employee experience. I am confident that my skills in HR systems, data analysis, and cross-functional partnership will contribute to your growth. I look forward to discussing how I can add value to your People Operations team.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Can you describe a time you implemented an AI or automation solution to improve an HR process?
In my previous role, I implemented an AI-powered chatbot to handle common employee inquiries about benefits and leave policies. This reduced HR tickets by 30% and allowed the team to focus on strategic initiatives.
How do you ensure compliance across multiple states in the U.S.?
I maintain a compliance calendar with key deadlines and use HRIS to track employee locations. I also partner with legal counsel to stay updated on regulations and conduct regular audits.
Describe your experience with HRIS implementations. What was your role?
I led the migration from a legacy system to BambooHR. My role involved requirements gathering, data cleanup, testing, and training. The project was completed on time and budget, with high user adoption.
How do you approach process improvement in a fast-paced environment?
I start by mapping current processes, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and identifying pain points. Then I prioritize improvements based on impact and effort, often using lean methodologies. For example, I automated onboarding paperwork, reducing processing time by 50%.
Can you give an example of using data to influence a business decision?
I analyzed turnover data and exit interview feedback to identify a trend: managers with low engagement scores had higher team turnover. I presented this to leadership, leading to a manager training program that improved retention by 15%.
