Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the Customer Solution Architect position at TE Connectivity. With over 10 years of experience in relay system design and a deep understanding of safety standards like IEC 61810 and ISO 13849, I am well-prepared to drive the architecture for Force Guided Relays and General-Purpose Relays.

My background includes engaging with global customers to align technology roadmaps with market trends, leading competitive benchmarking, and influencing standardization activities. I am fluent in both German and English, enabling seamless communication with diverse stakeholders.

I am eager to bring my technical expertise and strategic mindset to TE Connectivity to help create a safer, more connected world. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

Can you describe your experience with designing system architectures for force-guided relays?
I have over 5 years of experience designing system architectures for force-guided relays, focusing on safety applications. I developed modular architectures that comply with IEC 61810-3 and TรœV requirements, ensuring fail-safe operation.
How do you approach aligning technology roadmaps with customer next-generation products?
I regularly engage with key customers to understand their future needs, analyze market trends, and map them to our technology capabilities. I then prioritize roadmaps to bridge gaps and ensure our products meet evolving requirements.
Explain your experience with functional safety standards like ISO 13849 and IEC 62061.
I have applied both standards in multiple projects, defining safety integrity levels and designing systems to meet required performance levels. I also participate in standardization committees to stay updated on evolving requirements.
How do you handle competitive benchmarking for new product concepts?
I conduct thorough teardowns and performance analyses of competitor products, evaluate cost vs. performance, and identify differentiators. This informs our product strategy and helps define unique value propositions.
Describe a time you influenced an industry standard or trend.
I actively contributed to the revision of IEC 61810-3 by proposing clarifications on force-guided relay testing procedures. My input was accepted, and it helped align the standard with practical implementation challenges.

At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
