Sample interview questions
I would prioritize by urgency and potential fit, using active listening and efficient note-taking to personalize each interaction. Even with high volume, I would ensure every prospect receives a timely, helpful response and a clear next step, leveraging CRM tools to stay organized and follow up effectively.
In my previous role, I was introduced to a new ticketing system with limited training. I took the initiative by exploring its features, reading documentation, and asking colleagues for tips. I also practiced through mock scenarios, which helped me become proficient within a week and improve my workflow.
I enjoy the challenge of understanding customer needs and helping them find solutions. Sales allows me to combine communication, strategy, and relationship-building. This role offers a strong foundation in inbound methodology and lead qualification, which is exactly the skill set I need to grow into a Business Development Representative and eventually a closer.
I listen carefully and empathize, then ask open-ended questions to understand the root of their concern. I provide relevant examples or resources to demonstrate value, and if the timing isn't right, I propose a future follow-up. This approach turns objections into conversations and builds trust.
HEART stands for Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent. I would demonstrate this by being open to feedback, genuinely caring about customer success, adapting to changing priorities, delivering exceptional service, and communicating honestly with both customers and teammates.
