Cover letter sample
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am excited to apply for the Senior Product Manager position at Zartis, as the opportunity to drive impactful product work in the fitness SaaS space aligns perfectly with my background and passion. With over 5 years of experience in B2B product management and a strong track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end, I have consistently delivered results by combining strong customer insight with data-driven prioritization.
In my previous roles, I have led cross-functional teams to ship high-quality products in short, iterative cycles, and I excel at translating high-level visions into grounded, sequenced roadmaps. The chance to work on a platform that helps gym owners and studio operators streamline operations resonates with my ability to deeply understand customer pain points and deliver measurable outcomes.
I am particularly drawn to Zartis's focus on innovation and meaningful projects across industries. I am confident that my communication skills, analytical mindset, and comfort with ambiguity would make me a strong addition to your distributed team. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your fitness industry project.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
Sample interview questions
In a previous role, we had three major feature requests from enterprise customers but only capacity for one. I gathered user feedback through interviews and analyzed product analytics to estimate potential impact. I also consulted with sales and support to understand the revenue implications. I decided to prioritize the feature that addressed the most common pain point across segments, and I communicated the decision transparently with stakeholders. After launch, we saw a significant increase in user engagement, validating the choice.
Customer feedback is essential, but it's not the only input. My approach is to synthesize qualitative insights with quantitative data and align them with the strategic vision. I use customer interviews to understand the problem, not just the requested solution, and then I evaluate whether solving that problem supports long-term goals. This helps me make informed decisions that serve both the customer and the business, rather than simply following the loudest requests.
I once owned a SaaS dashboard and noticed high feature adoption but poor retention. I defined a 'weekly active usage' metric based on the key actions that indicated value. By tracking this, I identified that users who set up integrations within the first week had three times higher retention. I worked with the team to simplify the onboarding flow, which increased the metric by 30% and directly improved long-term customer value.
I see disagreements as opportunities to find the best solution. I focus on the underlying problem and use data, customer evidence, and clear requirements to facilitate a constructive discussion. I encourage the team to propose alternatives and we often run small experiments to test assumptions. My goal is to build consensus around the outcome, not to win an argument, while keeping the project moving forward.
First, I clarify the strategic objectives with stakeholders to understand the desired outcomes. Then, I conduct discovery to gather customer insights and market data, which helps define success criteria. I break down the vision into themes and epics, prioritizing based on impact, effort, and dependencies. I sequence the roadmap into short phases, each delivering valuable increments, and I review it regularly with the team to adapt to new information and changing business needs.
The company and our mission:
Zartis is a global AI transformation and technology consulting partner where talented engineers and technologists work on cutting edge innovation. We partner with ambitious organizations to design, build, and scale technology solutions that deliver real impact.
Our teams bring deep expertise in AI driven platforms, secure API architectures, and cloud native engineering. You will work on meaningful projects that accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, from strategy and discovery through to full product delivery, helping turn complex challenges into measurable outcomes.
With engineering hubs across EMEA and LATAM, and long term partnerships in financial services, healthcare and life sciences, and energy and climate, we offer opportunities to work on projects that truly matter. Here, you will not just build technology, you will drive business impact and grow your career alongside industry leaders.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to work on a project in the fitness industry.
The project:
Our teammates are talented people that come from a variety of backgrounds. We’re committed to building an inclusive culture based on trust and innovation.
You will be part of a distributed team working on a SaaS platform for the fitness industry, supporting gym owners, studio operators and franchise networks with bookings, memberships and day-to-day operations.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, demonstrable customer obsession, experience translating a high-level vision into a grounded, sequenced roadmap, and comfort making prioritisation calls in ambiguous environments.
What you will do:
Own the strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes for your product area, balancing near-term delivery with long-term product vision.
Talk to customers daily, gym owners, studio operators, and front-desk staff to deeply understand their problems and translate them into prioritised, well-scoped product work.
Partner with engineering, design, data and QA to ship high-quality, well-instrumented product experiences in short, iterative cycles.
Use quantitative and qualitative evidence to define success metrics, evaluate shipped work, and continuously improve your product area.
Drive business cases for new capabilities, including pricing considerations, go-to-market fit and commercial impact, in collaboration with sales, marketing and customer success.
Understand the competitive landscape and evolving market needs to identify where the product can lead, follow or differentiate.
Scope solutions to their smallest coherent state, ship early, gather real-world feedback, and iterate with urgency.
Align stakeholders across the business on roadmap priorities, delivery milestones and product decisions, using clear, data-backed communication.
Support product marketing in developing positioning and messaging that resonates with gym operators.
Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog and work closely with engineering leads to manage trade-offs between velocity, quality and scope.
What you will bring:
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS with a track record of owning and shipping complex product areas end-to-end.
Demonstrable customer obsession, you default to talking to users, not about them, and use research to sharpen your instincts rather than replace them.
Strong analytical mindset: comfortable defining metrics, querying data, and making prioritisation calls in ambiguous environments.
Experience translating a high-level vision into a grounded, sequenced roadmap with clear success criteria.
The ability to work fluidly across discovery and delivery, switching between strategic thinking and hands-on backlog management as the situation demands.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to write crisp product briefs, run effective reviews, and influence without authority across engineering, design, and the business.
Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments with cross-functional teams distributed across time zones.
A degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent relevant experience.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with the fitness, wellness or hospitality industry, or prior experience selling into or building for SMB and enterprise operators.
Exposure to platform or multi-tenant SaaS products where configuration, access control and white-labelling are first-class concerns.
Experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, Pendo) and a strong habit of defining and tracking outcome metrics.
A working understanding of agile ceremonies and how to keep a team focused and unblocked across a complex backlog.
Strong leadership presence, the ability to rally a team around a vision and maintain momentum through ambiguity.
What we offer:
100% Remote Work
WFH allowance: Monthly payment as financial support for remote working.
Career Growth: We have established a career development program accessible for all employees with a 360º feedback that will help us to guide you in your career progression.

Mentoring Program: You can become a mentor in Zartis or you can receive mentorship, or both.
Zartis Wellbeing Hub (Kara Connect): A platform that provides sessions with a range of specialists, including mental health professionals, nutritionists, physiotherapists, fitness coaches, and webinars with such professionals as well.
Multicultural working environment: We organize tech events, webinars, parties, and activities to do online team-building games and contests.
