Dear Hiring Team,
I am excited to apply for the Advertising Paid Search Manager role at Rithum. My experience managing performance-focused digital advertising campaigns, optimizing bids and budgets, and translating analytics into client-ready recommendations aligns closely with your need for a hands-on retail media strategist.
I would bring a data-driven, client-centered approach to campaign execution across platforms such as Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, Meta Ads, and Walmart Connect, while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams. I am particularly drawn to Rithum's commerce network and the opportunity to help enterprise clients achieve measurable ecommerce growth.
Thank you for your consideration; I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to high-impact media programs at Rithum.
Sample interview questions
I begin by clarifying the commercial objective, target audience, product priorities, constraints, and success metrics. I then map the objective to funnel stages and channels, establish a measurement plan, allocate budget based on expected incremental value, and document testing hypotheses. I provide regular performance reviews that connect media outcomes to the client's underlying business goals.
I would first validate tracking, attribution settings, budget delivery, and recent account changes. Next, I would segment performance by campaign, keyword or product, audience, device, geography, placement, and creative to isolate the source of inefficiency. Based on the findings, I would adjust bids and budgets, refine targeting and search terms, improve creative or product content, and run controlled tests while monitoring the agreed efficiency and volume metrics.
The core metrics depend on the objective, but I typically assess spend pacing, impressions, reach, click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per click, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, sales, and share of voice where available. I also review product-level performance, new-to-brand measures, and attribution windows to ensure results are interpreted in context. A healthy campaign should show both efficient delivery and progress toward the client's business target.
I would communicate early, directly, and with a clear point of view. I would explain what happened using the relevant data, distinguish controllable factors from external factors, identify the business impact, and present a prioritized recovery plan with owners and expected timing. This approach maintains trust because it combines transparency with actionable next steps.
I use AI tools to accelerate structured analysis, summarize performance patterns, draft reporting narratives, generate test ideas, and streamline documentation while validating outputs against source data. For example, I may use AI to identify recurring trends across account reports, then verify those findings in platform data before making optimization recommendations. The goal is to reduce manual effort while preserving analytical rigor and sound judgment.
