About this role.
Qventus is hiring a Product Operations Lead to run and improve R&D operations across Product and Engineering in a healthcare technology environment. The role owns company roadmapping, operational metrics, solution-development lifecycle processes, documentation, launches, and cross-functional strategic meetings. A major mandate is leading an AI-driven SDLC transformation, including the foundational context, policies, tooling, agentic workflows, and organizational change management needed to move initiatives from idea to near completion. Success requires hands-on fluency with coding agents, strong operational rigor, influence without formal authority, and polished communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders.

Sample interview questions
I would begin by mapping the current delivery lifecycle, identifying high-friction activities, and defining measurable outcomes such as cycle time, quality, adoption, and documentation completeness. I would then prioritize a small number of high-value workflows for pilots, establish secure context and governance standards, gather feedback from users, and scale proven patterns through clear enablement and change-management plans.
I create a consistent intake mechanism, evaluation criteria, and planning cadence that connect strategic objectives, customer needs, capacity, and dependencies. I make tradeoffs visible, document decisions, maintain a single source of truth, and use recurring stakeholder reviews to keep teams aligned as priorities evolve.
I would use a balanced set of delivery, quality, and organizational-health metrics, including roadmap predictability, cycle time, throughput, dependency aging, experiment-to-launch conversion, incident or defect trends, documentation quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. The exact measures should drive decisions rather than create reporting overhead, so I would review and refine them regularly.
I build alignment by clearly communicating the problem, showing evidence of the expected benefit, and involving representative users early in solution design. I use pilots and visible wins to build trust, address concerns directly, provide practical enablement, and create feedback loops that let teams shape the new operating model.
I would quickly clarify the bottleneck, its impact, ownership, dependencies, and available options. I would convene the relevant decision-makers, propose an action plan with explicit tradeoffs and dates, remove operational barriers where possible, and communicate progress and risks until the launch is stabilized.

The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and strategic Product Operations Lead to take our R&D operations to the next level. In this role, you’ll own the management of core product operations to deliver maximum impact – leading our company-wide roadmapping, driving key performance metrics, and owning the refinement and management of our core processes and tools – while also reshaping how R&D builds for tomorrow through AI.
In this role, you’ll also lead our AI SDLC transformation across R&D. At its center is a bold vision – enabling any R&D team member, human or AI agent, to take an initiative from idea to “almost done” independently. You’ll lead the development of the foundational context, policies, and tooling that make this possible, as well as the change management to shepherd the R&D team through this new way of working.
It’s a high-visibility, influence-driven role with a unique scope – running the operational engine of R&D while spearheading the reinvention of how that engine works.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall development & strategy setting for operations across Product & Engineering — setting key performance targets, tracking outcomes, and driving strategic initiatives.
- Own and drive the AI SDLC transformation across R&D — champion and operationalize the vision of enabling any team member (engineering, product/design, or AI agent) to take an initiative from “idea” to “almost done” (short of code review) on their own.
- Define and manage the roadmap to achieve the vision — org-wide foundational context, harness and tooling, and the agents, skills, and workflows built on top.
- Spearhead change management across the R&D organization.
- Iterate on the roadmap based on feedback and learnings.
- Facilitate the company roadmapping process — standardized mechanisms for intake of input, execution of roadmapping activities, cross-team dependency management, alignment of OKRs, and distribution of roadmap content.
- Manage the Solution Development Lifecycle across our key solutions — facilitating launches, tracking experiments, and ensuring high-quality documentation across teams.
- Operate as the initial point of contact for the product team in company-wide initiatives such as evolving onboarding, knowledge management, and employee growth & development.
- Lead and coordinate strategic meetings across Product, Engineering, and cross-functional leadership.
- Identify and evolve bottlenecked processes, applying strategic thinking to streamline operations and improve overall team efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience beginning to drive an AI-driven SDLC transformation.
- Deeply AI-pilled — current, hands-on fluency with coding agents and agentic workflows, and active experimentation with AI tools in your professional and personal life.
- Strong change management experience and skills — you’re able to rally and move a cross-functional team (engineers, product leaders, and designers) around new ways of working without relying on direct authority.
- Strong operational skills, such as measuring & regularly reporting on key metrics that drive toward key insights & effective decision-making.
- Highly adaptable with strong critical thinking skills, capable of evolving processes, addressing bottlenecks, and responding to operational challenges.
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong, professional presence in working with customers / partners (including C-Suite executives).
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and pitch in / fill in gaps when a team needs help.
- Nice to haves: product management experience, project management certification, experience in healthcare technology.
