Sample interview questions
Describe a product area you owned end-to-end and how you selected the most important problem to solve.

I would explain the customer and business context, the research and data used to identify the opportunity, the alternatives considered, and the measurable outcome chosen. I would then show how the roadmap, delivery plan, and post-launch iteration produced a documented impact.

How would you define and instrument success metrics for a generative AI product used by hospital care teams?

I would begin with the workflow and the user decision the product improves, then establish outcome metrics such as time saved, adoption, intervention completion, operational throughput, or patient-flow impact. I would pair these with quality, safety, reliability, and model-performance guardrails, instrument the funnel, and review results with clinical and operational stakeholders.

Tell us about a time you built or prototyped a solution rather than only writing requirements.

I would describe using prototypes, workflow mockups, lightweight automation, or AI tools to make an idea concrete early. I would emphasize how this reduced ambiguity, accelerated feedback from users and engineers, and improved the quality or speed of the final product decision.

How do you manage conflicting requests from customers, executives, engineering teams, and clinical stakeholders?

I make trade-offs transparent by grounding prioritization in user impact, strategic fit, evidence, effort, risk, and measurable outcomes. I communicate the decision clearly, document what is not being prioritized and why, and revisit assumptions as new data becomes available.

How would you build trust when presenting a new healthcare technology product to frontline clinicians and C-suite executives?

I would tailor the conversation to each audience while maintaining a consistent evidence base. For clinicians, I would focus on workflow fit, usability, and safety; for executives, I would connect the product to operational and financial outcomes, implementation requirements, and measurable value.

Our success in rapid scale across the globe is backed by some of the world’s leading investors. At Qventus, you will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional, mission-driven team across the globe, and the ability to directly impact the lives of patients. We’re inspired to work with healthcare leaders on our founding vision and unlock world-class medicine through world-class operations. #LI-MB1

We’re building a product organization at Qventus where the best PMs don’t just write specs and shepherd backlogs, but actually build. You’ll own a high-growth product area at the intersection of generative AI and healthcare, and you’ll spend real time prototyping, automating, and creating alongside engineering and design rather than watching from the sidelines. This is an emerging, fast-evolving role. We’re looking for someone with the drive and adaptability to help define what “builder-mode” product management looks like as we go, rather than someone waiting for a fully settled playbook.

This is the scope of the role and the work you’ll actually do:

  • Own a product area end-to-end. Take responsibility for a high-growth generative AI and healthcare product area, including its strategy, roadmap, and the decision on what gets built and why.
  • Define and manage the outcomes. Set the measurable outcomes for your area, instrument the metrics behind them, and use those numbers as the primary signal of whether the work is succeeding.
  • Discover and validate opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of your users, the market, the technology, and the data, and use it to find and validate the problems most worth solving.
  • Set the vision and requirements. Define the vision, the problems to solve, and the requirements for the solutions, and align the team and leadership behind them.
  • Get hands-on in the product through building: prototype with AI tools, mockup flows, and draft working solutions alongside engineering and design, automating the routine parts of the PM job as you go.
  • Lead a cross-functional team. Partner closely with engineers, data scientists, designers, and clinical experts to ship products that solve meaningful problems, then iterate after launch based on real impact.
  • Be the face of the product. Build relationships with users, buyers, and external thought leaders, and represent the product credibly with everyone from front-line clinicians to C-suite executives.

What we’re looking for

These are the qualities, skills, and experience we’re hiring for.

Core (the things that matter most)

  • High ownership and accountability. You take full responsibility for your product area and its results, and you drive things forward rather than wait to be driven. You are highly communicative regarding deadlines, progress, and expected outcomes.
  • Outcome-oriented and data-strong. You instinctively frame success as measurable results, and you let data guide your decisions.
  • Proven “shipper”. You have a track record of rapidly taking products through the full lifecycle and delivering real impact.
  • Exceptional communicator. Above all, you demonstrate outstanding written communication skills; you are crisp, structured, and persuasive on the page. You have. strong verbal communication too, with a confident, professional presence in front of customers and partners, including C-suite executives.
  • High motor. You thrive in a very fast-moving environment, with a strong bias to action and the energy to keep multiple things moving without dropping quality.
  • Hands-on with AI. You are fluent and comfortable using AI tools day-to-day, ideally building and prototyping with them, and willing to learn as new tools and technologies develop
  • High comfort level with data. You are comfortable developing products that lean heavily on data, analytics, and machine learning.
  • Strong product sense and taste. You have a real eye for great product and user experience, and the instinct to tell the difference between good and great.
  • Personable and customer-facing. You are collaborative, easy to work with, and the kind of person customers and partners across all functions of an enterprise SaaS healthcare technology business (such as engineering, professional services, sales, delivery) trust.
  • Adaptable. You are comfortable with ambiguity in a newer, evolving PM model, and eager to grow into a builder-mode operating style as the role takes shape.
  • Able to span altitudes. You can move from vision and evangelism down into the weeds, with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare familiarity. Exposure to healthcare operations or clinical workflows is a plus but not required. We’ll help the right person come up to speed.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in product management
