Sample interview questions
I would map clinical and administrative stakeholders, assess the current testing pathway and unmet needs, identify decision criteria and procurement requirements, and establish a phased engagement plan. I would align the plan with distributor responsibilities, define adoption milestones, and review progress in Salesforce on a regular cadence.
I set clear mutual goals, account priorities, roles, and activity expectations with distributor leadership and representatives. I provide product education, join strategically important customer meetings, use performance data to identify gaps, and hold consistent business reviews focused on actions that improve adoption.
I tailor the discussion to the audience by connecting clinical evidence, workflow implications, and patient-care needs to the product’s appropriate use. I avoid overpromising, ensure claims are compliant, address questions with approved resources, and confirm specific next steps for evaluation or implementation.
I would explain how I diagnosed the root cause using account activity, stakeholder feedback, competitive information, and pipeline data. I would then prioritize high-potential accounts, reset the engagement strategy with internal and distributor partners, and track leading indicators such as meetings, evaluations, and ordering behavior until results improved.
I use a territory travel plan that clusters visits by account priority and schedules time for pre-call planning, CRM updates, and follow-up after each customer interaction. I protect recurring time for pipeline review and communication with my manager and distributor partners so travel translates into measurable account progress.
