Sample interview questions
I would begin by aligning with the account executive on revenue objectives, opportunity stage, buying committee, competitive context, and customer priorities. I would map key stakeholders and their likely challenges, develop a tailored value narrative, and orchestrate relevant content, executive outreach, digital engagement, and high-touch experiences. I would define leading engagement indicators and pipeline milestones, then review performance with sales regularly and adjust tactics based on account signals.
I establish a joint account-planning rhythm with agreed target accounts, success metrics, owners, timelines, and next actions. Sales provides account intelligence and follows up promptly on engagement, while marketing delivers targeted programs and visibility into engagement and influence. Shared dashboards and recurring reviews make performance transparent and enable both teams to optimize quickly.
I would measure attendance quality, target-account penetration, seniority of attendees, meetings created, engagement after the event, opportunity movement, pipeline influenced, and sourced pipeline where attribution supports it. I would also collect qualitative feedback from sales and attendees to assess message resonance and event experience. Comparing results by audience segment, format, and follow-up motion would guide future investment.
I would use AI to accelerate account research, synthesize public information, draft persona-specific messaging options, develop content outlines, and identify thematic patterns across account signals. Every output would be validated against approved positioning, factual sources, privacy requirements, and sales insights before use. AI should improve speed and personalization, not replace strategic judgment or human review.
I would inspect engagement by persona, content type, channel, account stage, and sales follow-up to determine whether the campaign is reaching the right stakeholders and prompting the right next step. I would test stronger conversion offers, more opportunity-specific messaging, executive calls to action, and coordinated sales sequences. I would also validate with sales whether the account priorities and qualification assumptions remain accurate, then use results to refine the program.
