Sample interview questions
How would you build a qualified pipeline in the DACH market during your first 90 days?

I would first segment the ICP by industry, company size, payout use case, and buying triggers. I would validate messaging with early discovery calls, build multilingual outbound sequences, prioritize high-fit accounts, and review conversion data weekly to refine targeting and positioning.

Describe how you have entered or sold into a new geographic market.

I begin by identifying local buying dynamics, competitors, terminology, and common objections. I then work with marketing and product to localize the value proposition, build referenceable early wins, and document repeatable plays so the motion can scale beyond individual accounts.

How do you manage a complex mid-market sales cycle with multiple stakeholders?

I map decision-makers, champions, economic buyers, technical evaluators, and potential blockers early. I use mutual action plans with clear milestones, tailor value to each stakeholder, and keep momentum through concise written recaps and next-step ownership.

What would you do if prospects value the product but are concerned about banking infrastructure or payout complexity?

I would acknowledge the risk and use discovery to understand the specific compliance, reliability, and operational concerns. I would then coordinate the appropriate internal experts, provide relevant documentation and proof points, and connect the product capabilities to measurable operational outcomes.

How do you stay effective in a low-meeting, high-documentation remote culture?

I plan work around clear priorities, keep CRM and account plans current, and write concise updates that make decisions and risks visible. I proactively request input when needed, but I do not wait for direction when customer or pipeline data indicates an action is required.
