Sample interview questions
I listen for the speaker's complete thought, interpret in the first person, and preserve meaning, tone, and key details without adding or omitting information. When clarification is needed, I professionally ask the speaker to repeat, slow down, or clarify the statement.
I follow the applicable code of professional conduct, disclose nothing outside the session, and work only from a private, secure environment. I remain neutral, avoid side conversations, and protect any notes or information used during the call.
I would convey the closest accurate meaning and, where appropriate, briefly explain the cultural context without changing the speaker's intent. If the wording is ambiguous, I would ask the original speaker for clarification before interpreting.
I maintain a quiet private space, reliable internet, a tested headset, and access to required web platforms. Before availability periods, I verify audio quality, device power, and backup connectivity so I can answer calls promptly.
I remain calm, impartial, and focused on accurately interpreting each speaker's message. I use professional call-control techniques when necessary, follow protocol, and escalate technical or ethical issues through the appropriate process.
