I separate presentation, domain, and data concerns so UI components remain focused on state rendering and user events. ViewModels coordinate use cases, repositories abstract data sources, and dependency injection keeps components testable and modular.
I use structured concurrency with ViewModel scopes for lifecycle-aware asynchronous work and expose UI state through Flow or StateFlow. I handle cancellation, errors, loading states, and dispatcher selection explicitly so the UI stays responsive and state updates are predictable.
I model the screen with immutable UI state and events, keep composables small and reusable, and move business logic to the ViewModel. I test ViewModel state transitions, write Compose UI tests for key flows, and validate edge cases such as loading, errors, and configuration changes.
I would first review crash reports, logs, release build differences, obfuscation rules, configuration values, and API behavior. I would reproduce the issue in a release-like environment, isolate the smallest failing path, add regression coverage, and verify the fix through staged monitoring.
I clarify the customer outcome, identify the smallest valuable scope, and surface technical risks early with concrete alternatives. During delivery, I provide frequent progress updates, use measurable acceptance criteria, and partner with QA and stakeholders to release incrementally while protecting quality.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer II – Android to join our fast-growing team. This role is open to candidates based within a commutable distance (generally up to 1.5 hours) of our office hub in Kraków. We are unable to offer B2B contracts at this time. We embrace flexibility in where and how work gets done and also value meaningful in-person moments to connect and collaborate. You can expect a remote-first working model with periodic in-person gatherings at your closest office for team connection, planning, or other key moments.

What we’re looking for
- Experience of developing an Android app and familiarity with mobile web and back-end technologies would be beneficial
- 2-8 years’ experience of commercial software development, solving different kinds of technical problems
- Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms
