Sample interview questions
How would you prioritize which digital takedown types to invest in first?

I would assess each takedown type using customer impact, threat severity, volume, current success rate, operational effort, legal feasibility, and automation potential. I would prioritize opportunities that materially reduce customer risk while creating reusable workflows and measurable improvements in speed, quality, or cost.

How would you reduce false positives in an automated takedown workflow?

I would define clear evidence thresholds, confidence scoring, and policy-based validation rules before any submission. Higher-risk or lower-confidence cases would route to human review, while feedback from rejected requests, provider outcomes, and customer escalations would continuously refine detection and decision logic.

Describe how you would work with legal teams on a new takedown capability.

I would involve Legal early to define authorization requirements, evidentiary standards, jurisdictional constraints, liability boundaries, and escalation triggers. Those requirements would be converted into product rules, documented workflows, audit trails, and controls that are practical for operations and visible to customers where appropriate.

What metrics would you use to evaluate the health of a takedown product?

I would track time to validation, time to submission, time to disruption, takedown success rate, provider acceptance rate, false-positive rate, reoccurrence rate, SLA attainment, customer satisfaction, and cost per successful outcome. I would segment these metrics by threat type, provider, geography, and workflow path to identify the highest-value improvements.

How would you build effective partnerships with registrars, hosting providers, and online platforms?

I would start by understanding each partner's abuse process, evidence requirements, response expectations, and escalation mechanisms. I would establish structured communication channels, share high-quality actionable intelligence, monitor performance, and create mutual feedback loops that improve trust, speed, and consistency over time.
