EverAI is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for consumer AI companionship experiences, including conversational interfaces, character creation, monetisation, and growth flows. The role requires strong interaction and visual design judgment, prototyping ability, technical fluency, and comfort using AI image and video tools. This designer will work closely with product, engineering, leadership, and the Product Design Lead while independently driving decisions in an ambiguous, high-velocity environment. The position is fully remote for candidates in Germany and requires a portfolio demonstrating shipped consumer work, product thinking, experimentation, and measurable impact. Comfort designing NSFW product experiences is required.

Sample interview questions
I would outline the initial uncertainty, the user and business signals I used to frame the problem, the concepts I explored, and why I selected a direction. I would then describe collaboration with engineering, what shipped, and the resulting impact on engagement, conversion, retention, or qualitative user feedback.
I start with the decision we need to make and the risk we need to reduce. Low-fidelity work is useful for structure and comprehension, high-fidelity prototypes test interaction and visual confidence, and code-based prototypes are appropriate when feasibility, performance, or realistic behavior is central to the question.
I would treat safety as a core product constraint rather than a late-stage compliance check. I would collaborate early with moderation, product, and engineering partners to make boundaries understandable in the interaction, design graceful recovery states, and test whether safety interventions preserve clarity and user trust.
I would explain the desired outcome behind the request, present evidence or prototypes that revealed the trade-offs, and propose an alternative that better met the underlying goal. Effective pushback should be direct and respectful, ending with a clear decision, owner, and next validation step.
For character creation, I would examine completion rate, time to first meaningful interaction, activation, and downstream retention. For subscriptions, I would track funnel conversion, trial-to-paid conversion where relevant, plan selection, cancellation behavior, revenue per user, and qualitative feedback to identify friction or trust concerns.

Your Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team and help shape the future of AI companionship.
You’ll work across multiple product surfaces, including conversational experiences, character creation, monetization flows, growth experiences, interactive features, and emerging product areas still being defined.
You’ll work closely with our Product Design Lead, Product Managers, and Engineers to solve complex product problems, explore new opportunities, and help define the next generation of consumer AI experiences.
We’re looking for someone with strong product judgment, technical fluency, excellent communication, and the ability to contribute original ideas that raise the bar.
Your Responsibilities
Product Design
Own end-to-end design across multiple product areas from concept through delivery
Translate complex product and technical challenges into intuitive, high-quality user experiences
Balance speed, experimentation, and craft across fast-moving initiatives
Design for engagement, retention, monetisation, and conversion at scale
Create and iterate on visual content (image + video) to support product exploration, in-product experiences, and marketing/growth surfaces

Contribute original product ideas and creative concepts
Identify opportunities beyond the immediate brief
Help shape new features and interaction patterns through proactive exploration
Push ideas further through experimentation and thoughtful challenge
